I will be using this blog for Teaching Children's Literature, a graduate class at Le Moyne College. The purpose of these posts is to promote reading and literacy. From my parents, I inherited a love of reading that to this day has not gone away. It was a sentimental walk down memory lane as I searched for these books. I hope to introduce you to new titles or reconnect you with familiar books from your own childhood. Happy reading!

This is the first blog that I have ever created...it was surprisingly simple! I hope that this course, EDR 600 (Literacy Learning and Composing Processes), at Le Moyne College will help me become a better blogger, writer, and teacher of writing.

Thanks guys, I wasn't even expecting anyone to respond to this, but it was cool to get the email saying that I had followers! We are going to be using it mostly for class; posting responses to reading and stuff like that. But maybe it will become more in the future too
